Administration
The Administrative Department manages the day-to-day operations of the Town of Wise. The Town’s Chief Administrative Officer, the Town Manager, is directly responsible for carrying out the Town Council’s policies and for enforcement of Town regulations and ordinances. The Town Manager develops a recommended budget for consideration by the governing body which focuses on the capital projects and financial goals established by the Town Council. The manager also makes recommendations to the governing body concerning Town affairs and keeps the council advised of the Town’s financial condition and future needs. All departmental functions within the Town are supervised by the Town Manager. The Town Manager is appointed for an indefinite term by majority vote of the Town Council and works at their pleasure.
