Centennial History Talk and Ghost Tour

The Town of Wise celebrated their Centennial Celebration with a History Talk and Ghost Walk that was help on September 17th.  The History Talk was held at Gather at 411 East Main Street and was lead by Brian Wills.  This event was great success and the participants got to learn about how the civil war impact our are and how CVC, now UVA Wise, had and continues to have an impact on our area.

After the History Talk a lot of the participates joined other participates for the Ghost Tour that started at Nottingham Place and went around the Town of Wise ending at the Courthouse.  We would like to thank Cub, Jennifer, and Reid Mullins for taking time out to lead this tour, along with Brian Wills.  Even though the weather did not cooperate we had well over 50 partipants at this event.
