Tourism Development Planning Sessions for the Town of Wise

We are excited to announce the start of the process to draft a Tourism Development Plan for the Town of Wise!  This planning process will consist of two 2-hour sessions designed to gather your valuable feedback, prioritize key areas, and work together to develop clear tourism goals and strategies for our community.

Session 1 Details:

Date: Tuesday, December 10th 

Time: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.  

Location: Wise Town Hall | 501 W Main St, Wise, VA 24293

We are fortunate to have Michelle Workman from the Virginia Tourism Corporation joining us to facilitate the process. The first session will focus on networking, reviewing past accomplishments, conducting an asset inventory, discussing a mission and vision for Community Events & Tourism, and completing a SWOT Analysis.
