Water Treatment Plant

The Town of Wise owns its own public water system with its reservoir and water treatment plant located at 5545 Browning Lane.   The water plant has a treatment capacity of 1.5 million gallons per day and we currently produce an average of 0.500 million gallons per day. The reservoir storage capacity is 316,140,000 gallons of water. The town currently has 2,773 water connections. The town owns eight tanks, with a total storage capacity of 3.05 million gallons.

The Town of Wise Bear Creek Reservoir has pinic shelters that can be rented out by calling the Wise Municipal Building at 276-328-6013.  Fishing is permitted with required licenses.  The Town of Wise is also in the process of adding a trail that will surround the Bear Creek Reservoir.
