Building Permits

The Wise County Department of Building and Zoning is responsible for enforcing the provisions of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code, as well as issuing building permits. A building permit must be obtained from their office prior to any construction.

All zoning related matters are handled through the Town of Wise Department of Planning and Zoning.
